The Inaugural Tom Powers Triple Challenge Futurity Stakes Sale was
considered by all attending to be an overwhelming success. 35 Top
Quality Yearlings went through the ring for a gross average of
$8,417.00. 57% of the yearlings offered for sale were sold, for an
average of $8,340.00. The yearlings whose reserves were not
attained, averaged $8,520.00, with a large percentage of these
horses being entered in the sale for the purpose of establishing
